The Office of the Alderman for Youth Affairs organises or collaborates in the organisation of activities for young people, and supports the body's youth associations.
Its actions:
Organisation of the Carrefour des Professions, an information day based around jobs, designed for young adults with questions about their future training.
Supports the youth movements by awarding annual subsidies as well as exceptional subsidies to help in the organisation of concrete projects.
Actively supports the information centre Infor Jeunes (02/354.33.92), the Maison des Jeunes MJWoo (02/354.01.38), and the CCOJ (Commission Consultative des Organisations de Jeunesse – Mouvements de jeunesse/Youth Organisations Consultative Commission – Youth Movements).
It also acts as a point of contact between the Municipal Administration and the young people of Waterloo.
