Seniors Cultural Service

Under the responsibility of Dominique Ferier-Jans and Yves Vander Cruysen, the service organises entertainment, information and permanent education for senior citizens (aged 60 and over).

Every year, it provides the 4,000 or so senior citizens with a programme of activities in Waterloo and further afield, as well as an academic year of 8 lectures (Waterloo's UCL/ULB inter-university unit)

It also stages a Christmas celebration bringing together over a thousand senior citizens, and an annual trip ...

The social worker responsible for this service is available to the public between the hours of 8 am and 11.30 am from Monday to Friday to deal with any essentially cultural enquiries (activities run by the municipality, clubs, etc) as well as with regard to social policy for senior citizens
